I, too, have begun thinking about what my new word for next year will be. My life hasn't had as many changes as yours - outward ones, but the inward ones accumulate!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6994770259293936910.post-13270879387114524162011-12-21T17:37:28.360-05:002011-12-21T17:37:28.360-05:00Living life is always bringing changes. It sounds to me that you've got some good changes happening in the new year. Enjoy these days and the changes they bring.elsiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01348895330633879894noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6994770259293936910.post-4121878055275464212011-12-21T02:03:41.020-05:002011-12-21T02:03:41.020-05:00Your last sentence says it all. Although I am not yet retired I am realizing that I need to shift priorities and dedicate more time to my family rather than always focusing on school-related things. It has been a difficult change because I am becoming someone different but it it has been good.Elisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10581896401346275394noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6994770259293936910.post-15120898692461009922011-12-20T22:59:03.729-05:002011-12-20T22:59:03.729-05:00Oh Tam, I love hearing what you have to say every ...Oh Tam, I love hearing what you have to say every time! We must be close in age & although I'm not retired yet, I am out of the classroom & moving toward that day soon enough. I enjoyed the way you wound through the pieces connected to change, from the eventful walking to the notebook evolution to choosing/using your word for the year. I tried to begin a word last year, but didn't follow it after March. You've inspired me to try again. I hope you have a marvelous Christmas. Who will I become even at this stage of the game?"<br />We are always changing, taking on new challenges and opening ourselves to new adventures.
